From the placemats to the towels to the flower arrangements to the maids to the menus to the light fixtures to the hangers in the closet—we check everything before accepting a hotel into our group.
If we don't feel it will be up to your very discerning standards, we politely offer our suggestions and stop by at a later date for another inspection. We're a couple of rungs above a "mystery shopper," because we don't just visit once. When hotels become members, we still pop in for "white glove" visits, plus we check in with every single traveler that stays there to make sure it was still up to par. And that would be every hotel, all of the time.
Our group doesn't include any average hotel that is willing to pay a fee. Each member is truly handpicked, and we care about matching the right traveler with the right hotel.
