MBH provides national as well as international marketing, public relations, promotion and reservations support to member hotels that belong in a class of their own.
MBH is a group of small, independent hotels within Mexico that offer a unique vacation experience for guests. The hotels usually have less than 50 rooms and can often be conceived as destinations unto themselves. The hotels are chosen by a team of travel and hospitality professionals with many years of experience in Mexico. The MBH central office is located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and its directors frequently visit all the hotels for inspection during the year.

An easy-to-use online room inventory data base is operated by each property and reflected on the MBH site as well as on the property's own site if they so desire. This allows hotels to receive bookings 24 hours per day without needing round-the-clock staff. In a small hotel this makes a big difference! MBH is the only site of its kind that allows travelers to simultaneously search availability for over 45 boutique properties in one country.

How can a property become an MBH member?
Many requests are received from hotels that want to join the MBH collection. A careful screening process has been devised so that both the hotel and MBH may quickly determine if the property can benefit from the membership and also if it fits the MBH profile.
A request for membership initiates the qualification process which begins by filling out the MBH application and returning it to us along with current hotel brochures, photographs and any other information that will assist us in analyzing the property.
Once received, the hotel material is reviewed and an inspection visit is scheduled if both the hotel and MBH want to move forward. Once the hotel is accepted into the collection, MBH provides an auto-renewable membership contract. If a hotel is not accepted, a complete report is issued, outlining the changes that must be made should the hotel choose to submit for membership in the future.
The cost of membership has been tailored to be accessible to even the smallest MBH establishment.
