From the exterior, Mesón Sacristía de la Compañia looks like a simple colonial building with typical Spanish terraces and heavy wooden doors.

He was not only very well-informed and comfortable with English, but he also, shared his love of Puebla´s history and people and was very pleasant to spend the day with. I must also mention Jorge, who was so helpful and personable... The hotel is very conveniently located, which we appreciated, along with the helpfulness of the staff. We would certainly stay again at Meson Sacristia de la Compania, and would know to ask in advance for room #8, which we peeked at but was not available. We would like to come back to Puebla in a different season when we might have a view of Popo and the other surrounding mountains! However, we really enjoyed discovering the historical center of Puebla and Cholula, and returned home with much heavier luggage (Talavera!).
