The intimate villa-style Casa de Mita (formerly known as Casa Las Brisas) has 6 guestrooms and 2 spacious suites, overlooking one of the area´s most beautiful and pristine beaches. Located just 40 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta on the outside flank of Bay of Banderas, the scarce footprints on the long, sugary white shores attest to the hotel´s seclusion.
Guest rooms have breathtaking ocean views and are situated within steps of the pool and beach. Your private thatched covered balcony is a perfect oasis for morning coffee while you contemplate the delights of the day. Sun drenched patios, palm shaded lounge areas and intimate canopied daybeds beckon for a lazy afternoon read from the lending library, a tropical cocktail or a breeze kissed siesta. Unique interiors are detailed and elegant, with imposing hand carved furniture and architectural touches that effortlessly lend to the simplistic elegance of this exclusive retreat. The spacious bathrooms are a fiesta in themselves, with immense showers lined with hand
painted tiles and natural stone mosaics.
The attentive yet unobtrusive service of the staff redefines hospitality and graciousness, and is undoubtedly the highlight of your stay.
A passion for fine cuisine makes Casa de Mita one resort where guests welcome the formula of “all inclusive´´ so much so that this feature can be deemed “exclusive inclusivity.´´
Activities center around the privileged natural setting. And if doing nothing at all is what you choose, your hosts are experts at making that pleasure, an art!

"We had an excellent time at Casa De Mita. This was our second visit (our first was in May of 2007), and the hotel was just as good as the first time we visited. It is a special place, with excellent service and atmosphere. We had no concerns about health or our safety, and felt very comfortable the entire time we were in Mexico. We saw constant security at our hotel. We were not concerned about the previous swine flu outbreak, as we felt much of that was exaggerated and any immediate threat is now past. We have told others of our good trip, and that we were very comfortable in Mexico, and we will continue to do so. It is a wonderful place to visit.

"We had a wonderful time at Casa De Mita and have already been recommending it to friends and family. We absolutely will return in the future. Everything about this small boutique resort is quite special -- very helpful and kind staff, beautiful and comfortable accommodations, fabulous beach, delicious and plentiful food and massages that can´t be beat! The attention to detail of the owner and his team really makes staying at Casa De Mita a wonderful experience.
As for traveling to Mexico, we experienced absolutely no issues and would not hesitate to recommend that people travel to your country. While we did have concerns a few months ago, as it got closer we were no longer very concerned at all -- nor should other travelers be.
Thanks again for your assistance leading up to our trip - we shall return!!"
P. & J. Bailin, USA. June 2009.
"We had a wonderful vacation week at Casa de Mita. The hotel rooms, food, and staff were all outstanding. There were many small homey touches, including the friendly pets, which made our visit especially relaxing. Owner Marc allowed us to use a hotel car for a side trip which was very helpful and much appreciated. The beach was virtually empty on non-holiday weekdays and very private. We look forward to returning to Casa de Mita for future family vacations!"
M. Harper, USA. February, 2009.
"We had an incredible time at Casa de Mita. If there is heaven on earth then we have found it there. We anxiously await a return trip. The physical beauty of the resort, and it´s natural setting are outstanding.
The beach is gorgeous and nearly deserted. The food is outrageously good! Most importantly, the staff is absolutely perfect!!! Warm, gracious, helpful but not hovering. They make you feel immediately at
home and comfortable in every way. We just can´t wait to go back!

"I have never stayed at a better place in Mexico. This is a superb property, perfectly run with outstanding staff and food. What a jewel!"
S. Piser, USA. November, 2008.
"... It was a sweet surprise from a sweeter husband to return us to Puerto Vallarta after 30 years, and great to visit this area away from the big town. The beach was clean and beautiful and felt virtually private... The decor was Mexican "Shabby Chic", lots of painted tile, stucco and carved wooden doors and furniture, thatched roofs with deep overhanging eaves, and cool and weird art. The resident dogs were adorable and well-behaved and indulged. The food and drink was delicious and ever available. It was nearly impossible to find with no signs whatsoever... That´s O.K. though, because we did arrive and appreciated the peace and privacy. In fact we appreciated it so much that we were content to stroll and snorkel, laugh and snore together, without ever leaving the Casa property for the 2 nights and 3 beautiful days..."
Mr. & Mrs. Dudley, USA. July, 2008.
"We did indeed have a marvelous time at Casa de Mita! The room was just perfect and the hotel and staff was everything we could have dreamed of. They set up a romantic dinner in front of the fireplace for Isaac´s birthday and baked us a delicious cake. We loved every second and can´t wait to go back!"
T. Brown, USA. March, 2008.
"It was memorable...can´t say enough about the staff. Just were there when you wanted them to be, such nice people...we really enjoyed them...also, it was exactly what we expected so that was great...we just wanted to read and relax and everyone there seemed to want to do the same thing... We have told a lot of people about Mexico Boutique Hotels... We also plan to visit some others..."
B. Willoughby, USA. December, 2007.
"...From the moment that we walked through the door at Casa De Mita, we were at home! It was Paradise! From the food, accomodations, and the wonderful people there to take care of us. We never felt like we were a guest, we were at home. It was wonderful knowing that we could stroll the beach, lounge at the pool, boogie board in the ocean without a care in the world. The staff was so awesome! They took care of us like we were a king and queen. They always were there to get us what we wanted or needed, but the best part is that they always had smiles on their faces. The accomodations at these resort are like no other. Every room is exquisit! Diiferent and unique. Rooms with balconies with an ocean view. We drank coffee on our balcony enjoying the sites and sounds of the ocean. The beds are so comfortable that I felt like I was in my own bed at home. A walk-in shower was so wonderful! This was such a romantic get away for my fiance and I that we are coming back next year for our honeymoon to this romantic, exquisite paradise! I am recommending this paradise to all!
Thank you for our wonderful time Casa de Mita!..."

"Our stay was amazing, everything was perfect! We really enjoyed our time there and hope to be back soon! We especially enjoyed the food, which was incredible."
Maggie Campbell, Canada. September, 2007.
"Casa de Mita´s staff seems to telepathically predict your needs, like when a sangria materializes before you know you want one" – En Route Magazine. December, 2007.
"Located just outside trendy PV, on the way to Punta Mita, beautiful Casa de Mita (formerly Casa las Brisas) sits on a pristine secluded beach... White stucco walls, hand-painted tiles, thatched roofs and carved-wood cabinets (the latter stuffed with paperback novels) bring Vallarta flavor to the decor. The creative cuisine is made from locally grown, organic products." – Sandra Ramani. Fodor´s.com October, 2007.
"Casa las Brisas is only a few minutes away from the sprawling Four Seasons Punta Mita, but it´s world´s away in terms of attitude and price. For boutique hotel lovers who appreciate meeting other guests and having a strong sense of place, this is an excellent choice near Puerto Vallarta."
