"We had an excellent time at Casa De Mita. This was our second visit (our first was in May of 2007), and the hotel was just as good as the first time we visited. It is a special place, with excellent service and atmosphere. We had no concerns about health or our safety, and felt very comfortable the entire time we were in Mexico. We saw constant security at our hotel. We were not concerned about the previous swine flu outbreak, as we felt much of that was exaggerated and any immediate threat is now past. We have told others of our good trip, and that we were very comfortable in Mexico, and we will continue to do so. It is a wonderful place to visit.

Everything about this small boutique resort is quite special -- very helpful and kind staff, beautiful and comfortable accommodations, fabulous beach, delicious and plentiful food and massages that can´t be beat! The attention to detail of the owner and his team really makes staying at Casa De Mita a wonderful experience.

As for traveling to Mexico, we experienced absolutely no issues and would not hesitate to recommend that people travel to your country. While we did have concerns a few months ago, as it got closer we were no longer very concerned at all -- nor should other travelers be.

"We had a wonderful vacation week at Casa de Mita. The hotel rooms, food, and staff were all outstanding. There were many small homey touches, including the friendly pets, which made our visit especially relaxing. Owner Marc allowed us to use a hotel car for a side trip which was very helpful and much appreciated. The beach was virtually empty on non-holiday weekdays and very private. We look forward to returning to Casa de Mita for future family vacations!"

"... It was a sweet surprise from a sweeter husband to return us to Puerto Vallarta after 30 years, and great to visit this area away from the big town. The beach was clean and beautiful and felt virtually private... The decor was Mexican "Shabby Chic", lots of painted tile, stucco and carved wooden doors and furniture, thatched roofs with deep overhanging eaves, and cool and weird art. The resident dogs were adorable and well-behaved and indulged. The food and drink was delicious and ever available. It was nearly impossible to find with no signs whatsoever... That´s O.K. though, because we did arrive and appreciated the peace and privacy. In fact we appreciated it so much that we were content to stroll and snorkel, laugh and snore together, without ever leaving the Casa property for the 2 nights and 3 beautiful days..."

"...From the moment that we walked through the door at Casa De Mita, we were at home! It was Paradise! From the food, accomodations, and the wonderful people there to take care of us. We never felt like we were a guest, we were at home. It was wonderful knowing that we could stroll the beach, lounge at the pool, boogie board in the ocean without a care in the world. The staff was so awesome! They took care of us like we were a king and queen. They always were there to get us what we wanted or needed, but the best part is that they always had smiles on their faces. The accomodations at these resort are like no other. Every room is exquisit! Diiferent and unique. Rooms with balconies with an ocean view. We drank coffee on our balcony enjoying the sites and sounds of the ocean. The beds are so comfortable that I felt like I was in my own bed at home. A walk-in shower was so wonderful! This was such a romantic get away for my fiance and I that we are coming back next year for our honeymoon to this romantic, exquisite paradise! I am recommending this paradise to all!
